Oxford Fashion Week Mar 2011: Queen of the Wild Featured in the Style Show@OFW

Queen of the Wild is imagined and founded by Iranian-born, London-based designer Negar Bahardoust.

Negar finished her BA in Fashion Design at Ryerson University in Toronto, Canada, where she was a finalist for the design of the year award. She moved to London in 2005 and started to work for some of the city’s visionary fashion houses, such as Nicole Farhi, Gharani Strok and Bora Aksu.

She then obtained her MA in Production Design for Film and TV from Kingston University, London. In 2011 she launched her own line, Queen of the Wild.

Queen of the Wild highlights Negar’s own colourful taste with a playful palate, emitting luxury with top-end Italian silk. Negar’s many travels around the world and love of music, nature, fine art and films, has allowed her to employ a multifaceted interpretation of the wilderness – A truly wild look that can stand beautifully against any urban backdrop.

Her garments have been featured at the Holt Renfrew, Canada’s luxury department store. She has been involved in a number of fashion shows in the UK and Canada, including Oxford fashion week 2011. She has also had two major solo shows in her hometown Tehran, Iran.

More recently, one of her pieces was published in Vogue Italia’s May 2012 issue.

She now works toward both her main line and one-off couture pieces.

Bespoke service:

Whether you’re looking for a wedding dress, a perfect outfit for an important meeting or an outstanding costume for your performance, the bespoke service is the answer.

We will assist you in identifying your individual style and fabric requirements and incorporate these into the final garment.

The process:

Queen of the Wild customer testimonials:

queen of the wild bespoke

'I approached the Queen of the Wild designer to make my wedding dress because I love her style. We met and came up with a really bold design - she really helped me understand what would look good on my shape and bring out my best features. We refined the design over a couple of meetings and fittings and the final dress was ready well before the wedding. I love the final result and couldn't be more happy with the process. It is well worth having a dress made bespoke for you by an expert rather than buy something that's a compromise off the peg. Queen of the Wild rule!'

Mrs. L Jones (London, UK)

'My dress is truly unique, beautiful, and yet very comfortable. The compliments very quite flattering. Couldn't ask for more.'

Ms. A Shokati (Austin, USA)
